# 磁条（Magnetic stripe）

三种读卡方式里最老、也最弱的一种：磁条上是静态数据，而芯片与挥卡带的是密码学认证。在一个境外访客很多的市场里，它仍然值得支持：有些访客手上的卡只能刷磁条，没有它的替代结果是这笔交易根本做不成。

## 它对商户意味着什么

如今它主要是一种兜底，而且主要与做游客生意的商户有关：还需要它的卡，多半是从别处来的。客人以本地为主的商户可能一次都遇不到；开在旅游街上的商户会遇到，而且应该在队伍排起来之前就知道自己这套设备能不能处理、员工该怎么做。
