# GMV（商品交易总额）

扣除费用、退款与拒付之前的销售总额。用来衡量业务规模有用；用来衡量实际到账了多少钱，会误导人。

## 它对商户意味着什么

一个好用的门面数字，却不是支付决策的好依据，因为它完全没说底下的结构。同样的 GMV，由少数几笔大额构成和由大量小额构成，处理成本天差地别；所以真正该带去谈价格的那个数字，通常是客单价，而不是营业额。它也是最容易被商户拿去跟服务商谈的那个数字，因为有人告诉过他，量大就有议价权。有时确实如此。但服务商给一门生意定价时看的是底下的结构：客单价、卡种结构、卡在场与不在场的比例、其中有多少是境外发卡；决定「服务这门生意实际要花多少成本」的正是这些。带着这四个数字来谈的商户，和带着一个营业额来谈的商户，谈的是两场不同的、而且短得多的对话，通常也是价格更好的那一场。
