# CVM（持卡人验证方式）

一笔交易用什么方式确认付款的人有权使用这张卡：输密码、签名、手机自身的生物识别，或者在挥卡小额门槛以下什么都不做。用哪一种是由卡、终端和金额共同决定的，不由商户决定；这也是为什么同一张卡有时要输密码、有时不用。

## 它对商户意味着什么

值得跟柜台同事讲一次，因为它能消除掉一整类不必要的对话。顾客要不要输密码，不是店里选的，也不代表出了什么问题；它由卡、终端和金额共同决定。知道这一点的店员，就不会再为此道歉了。
